Through the Ivy Brothers Research Package, the student will conduct an independent research project under one-on-one mentorship from a professor, researcher, PhD, or other qualified research mentor in a field aligned with the student’s academic interests.
The package includes 24 private research sessions, each ½ hour in length. These sessions are dedicated to synchronous mentorship and guidance and do not include the additional outside research, writing, analysis, editing, or other deliverable work completed between sessions by the research team and/or student.
Ivy Brothers will provide guidance throughout the research process, including topic development, prospectus creation, research methodology, literature review, analysis, academic writing, revisions, and preparation of the final manuscript. The research and writing process typically takes approximately 14–16 weeks, depending on the scope and complexity of the project.
Following completion of the manuscript, Ivy Brothers will support the student through the submission and publication process, which typically takes an additional 12–24 weeks depending on the publication and review timeline. We will help identify appropriate academic journals and other external outlets and guide the student through submission and revisions.
The package is designed to result in meaningful external recognition of the student's work. Ivy Brothers will work toward the goal of publication in an academic journal and/or external recognition through a newspaper, academic conference, research organization, or comparable third-party platform.
